Immersion is deeper when mass tourism is absent.

The province of Thai Nguyen, also known for its tea fields, is full of magnificent natural places. The Bac Son valley tries to develop tourism but remains very discreet compared to certain destinations like SAPA. However, the landscapes are sublime. It has also been a commercial hub with China for decades.
