In immersion in a Vietnam of a thousand riches, a tour 21 days to start an amazing adventure. From North to South to discover its varied and majestic landscapes, beach, rice fields, highlands, its ethnic groups and its crafts. A perfect combination of unmissable places and places where mass tourism has not stopped.

After visiting the Hanoi urban jungle, through its markets, its alleys and its overflowing activity, you will leave to hike among the most beautiful and impressive rice terraces in Vietnam, in Hoang Su Phi. You will leave the North to go to the ancient imperial city and its citadel, Hue. Then, you will visit the incredible and charming old town of Hoi An. It will then be another Vietnam which will be offered to you in the Mekong Delta. Where life is lulled by the rhythm of the Mekong canals. You will then have earned a seaside break in the resort of Nha Trang with its heavenly beaches and crystal clear water. Lunch at a local restaurant . In the afternoon, go visit the Ethnology Museum (if not Monday) and the Tran Quoc Pagoda. Optional: visit the pottery village of Bat Trang to do a pottery workshop. Dinner and night.
  • Day 3: Hanoi – Hoang Su Phi (Tan Xa Phin – Nam Dam)
  • tam-coc_smallEarly breakfast and departure for a 4-day trek to Hoang Su Phi, Ha Giang. Lunch en route. Arrival in Tan Xa Phin in the early afternoon, short break then 2-hour hike through the small village of the Dao ethnic group with long tunics and descent into the valley where the Tay ethnic groups live. Dinner and night at the inhabitant of the Tay ethnic group
  • Day 4: Nam Soong – Seo Phin – Ho Thau
  • You will walk to Nam Son and experience small town life in northern Vietnam. Then, you leave the city by a suspension bridge and go up the mountainside to a small village of the Hmong ethnic group. You will have time to admire the breathtaking view of the rice terraces . You will also discover the daily life of the inhabitants throughout this trek and you will notably meet the Dao with Long Tunics, the H'mong Fleuris and the Nung. You will have lunch with a H'Mong family . The night will be spent with another ethnic group (Nung or Man Ta Pan) so that you can compare the lifestyles, homes and foods of each.
  • Day 5: Ho Thau – Ban Van – Suoi Thau
  • You will walk (5 to 6 hours) until you reach Suoi Thau, a village inhabited by the Dao with long tunics . This village is located between the largest rice terraces of Hoang Su Phi . Following the route, you will cross streams, waterfalls, bamboo forests, pass the “ Ban Luoc Heaven Gate ” and beautiful rice terraces. On the winding paths, you will also witness the daily work of the local people, especially the group of s Man Ta Pan and the Dao. In Suoi Thau, you will see an old tea tree (more than 100 years old) with buds that have white hairs, this is called S han tea - a famous tea in Vietnam that you will have the chance to taste. Visit an ancient temple of the long-robed Dao people, where you can learn about their way of praying for a prosperous and healthy future. Lunch with a family of the Man Ta Pan ethnic group. Dinner and night at homestay with a Dao family
  • Day 6: Suoi Thau – Ban Luoc – Hanoi
  • After breakfast, you will walk 2 hours to leave the rice terraces of Ban Luoc. Then, you will take the moto - taxi to go to the town of Hoang Su Phi, before returning to Hanoi. Lunch in Ha Giang. Take a 2-hour massage course. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi
  • Day 7: Hanoi – Ninh Binh
  • Depart for Ninh Binh after breakfast (2 hours), stop for a visit to Hoa Lu ancient capital. Local lunch and hotel/homestay check-in. Cycle to Tam Coc and take the afternoon boat trip here (3 hours). After that, cycle to Mua Cave for a panoramic view of the Tam Coc area. Local dinner with goat meat and overnight
  • Day 8: Ninh Binh – Lan Ha Bay
  • Breakfast then transfer to Lan Ha Bay, the little sister of Halong Bay , just as charming and less crowded. for an overnight cruise. Embarkation at the port of Hon Gai, reception and lunch on the cruise. Visit of the caves, beach activities in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight cruise
  • Day 9: Ha Long – Hanoi – Hue
  • Some morning activities, brunch then goodbye. Pick up the car at the port, transfer to Yen Duc, a peaceful village in Uong Bi, Quang Ninh. You will take a walk in the village. Back to the car then continuation to Hanoi, dinner then to the station to take the night train to Hue.
  • Day 10: Hue
  • Early breakfast, bike tour of Dong Ba Market and Imperial Citadel. End the tour of the citadel, then proceed to Thien Mu Pagoda. Local lunch and hotel check-in. Afternoon, visit of the village of conical hat and incense (optional: rental of traditional Vietnamese clothes for taking pictures), Khai Dinh tomb. Dinner during a cruise on the Perfume River. Night at the hotel.
  • Day 11: Hue – Cham Museum – Hoi An
  • Depart Hue after breakfast. Stop at Cham Museum, Da Nang for a tour of Cham culture. Lunch in Danang then direction Hoi An. Check-in time and free time to walk around the old town. Relaxation at An Bang beach, dinner (in town or at the beach) . Evening boat trip on the Hoi An River. Overnight at the hotel.
  • Day 12: Hoi An – Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh
  • Morning bike ride, take part in a calligraphy or lantern - making workshop. Lunch then transfer to Da Nang airport for the flight to HCM. Dinner and night at HCM.
  • Day 13: HCM – Ben Tre – Can Tho
  • This morning at 08:00, leave the hustle and bustle of the big city behind as the landscape is gradually replaced by rice paddies and rural villages on your way to Can Tho . Stop en route to visit Ben Tre. Take a boat on the Bến Tre River - one of the tributaries of the Mekong, visit lively activities along the river like fishing . Visit one of the many coconut processing workshops located along the canal. The boat will pass through small canals to get to the village. Stroll through the family workshop for making mats and tasting fruit . Lunch at the restaurant by the river. Then the road continues to Can Tho ( about 70 km from Ben Tre) where you will have time to freshen up before dinner and enjoy your evening in the city. Overnight in Can Tho .
  • Day 14: Cai Rang Floating market – Sa Dec – HCM – Nha Trang
  • After having breakfast at the hotel, early departure at 06:30 - 07:00 to see the largest floating market in the Mekong, Cai Rang. Hundreds of boats gather with a fruit or vegetable tied to a pole in front indicating what is for sale on each. During early morning market hours, larger boats drop anchor and create lanes for smaller boats to weave through. The waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats filled with mangoes, bananas, papayas, pineapples and other types of produce. The local boat returns to Ninh Kieu Port, giving us the opportunity to admire the Can Tho Cable Bridge which spans the Hau River. Transfer back to HCM, stopping en route in the charming town of Sa Dec where you will visit the lush gardens and orchards of a local family and most importantly visit the former home of Huynh Thuy Le, the former lover of Dumas on whom the film "The Lover" was based. Local lunch and continuation to Tan Son Nhat airport for the flight to Nha Trang . Diner and night at the place.
  • Day 15: Nha Trang
  • Full day free at leisure. Only accommodation with breakfast is included. Recommended Activities: Water sports abound, including parasailing, jet skiing, water skiing and relaxing boat trips to the outer islands. Overnight in Nha Trang.
  • Day 16: Nha Trang – Buon Ma Thuot
  • Breakfast then departure for 4 hours drive to Buon Ma Thuot , cradle of the Hauts-Plateaux. Local lunch and hotel check-in. Visit the village of Co Thon ( Ako Dhong ) “a village inside the city” to meet the Ede ethnic group; coffee plantation and tasting. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
  • Day 17: Buon Ma Thuot
  • Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Dray Nur or Dray Sap waterfalls on the Serepok River . Picnic at the waterfall and free time to swim or walk there. Visit of the Dak Lak Museum of Ethnology. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
  • Day 18: Buon Ma Thuot – Pleiku – Kontum
  • This morning you will leave for Kon Tum, stop on the road at T'Nung Lake to admire the scenery and soak up the tranquility of the place. Lunch then departure to the city of Kon Tum . Dinner and night.
  • Day 19: Kon Tum – Mang Den – Kon Tum
  • Breakfast at the hotel and start the journey to Mang Den for about 1 hour drive. Stop at the first destination: Dak Lac Ke or Toong Dam Lake then Pa Sy waterfall. Picnic lunch. To visit Konpring Village to meet the Monam ethnic group in the afternoon. Then return to Kon Tum for dinner and overnight.
  • Day 20: Kontum – Pleiku – Hanoi
  • Visit the wooden church of Kon Tum and the museum in the morning. Then lunch and transfer to Pleiku airport for the return flight to Hanoi. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi
  • Day 21: Hanoi
  • Free time until your return flight. (Depending on departure time, possible activities in the morning) Airport transfer included.
