Pick up from your hotel in the Old Quarter early in the morning and transfer to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Arrival at the homestay , check-in and lunch. You will then be transferred by car to the starting point of the hike. You will take a path in the middle of magnificent rice terraces which will then lead you to a viewpoint to admire the picturesque village of Kho Muong. Nestled in a valley inaccessible by car, this village remains isolated from mass tourism. You will continue the walk to the superb cave of Bats, the largest in the Reserve. Possibility to visit the cave depending on weather conditions. Return by scooter to the top of the village and then return to the homestay . Dinner on site or possibility of organizing a dinner with the locals. Quiet night.

Day placed under the sign of the discovery of atypical and remote places. First, you will be taken to a suspension bridge to start a walk that will take you to the bamboo watermills. Particularity of the Thai minority, this ingenious system allows the irrigation of the fields. You will learn about the creation of this system which has improved the agricultural production of the locals. You will then take the car to go to the village of Uoi to discover the local crafts. The road will continue to the village of Hieu for a hike in the village and discover the pretty waterfall that runs along it from top to bottom. Lunch on site. You will then go to Son Ba Muoi , a set of 3 remote villages. You can immerse yourself in traditional life, visit a local house and drink tea with the locals. Return to the homestay at the end of the afternoon for dinner and a quiet night.

Mai Hich

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the village of Mai Hich , about an hour’s drive. Far from the mass tourism that can be found in the Mai Chau valley , the village of Mai Hich and its surroundings have managed to preserve a local atmosphere. On arrival, you will leave for a day of cycling in the surrounding countryside. You will pass by small paths, over a bamboo bridge and through rural landscapes to experience local life. In the late afternoon, you will relax for a short bamboo raft ride on the river. Local dinner and night at the homestay .

After breakfast, depart for the H’Mong village of Pa Co, 1 hour and 15 minutes by road. If arriving on Sunday morning, visit the superb local and colorful market. Very little frequented by tourists, you will be immersed in the world of the H’Mong . If you arrive on another day, you will be taken directly to Hang Kia Village. You will learn about how to make the traditional outfits as well as indigo making. You can also try your hand at drawing with beeswax to create patterns. You will have lunch with a local family. In the afternoon, you will go hiking around the village to discover the local agriculture. Return to the homestay at the end of the afternoon to relax. Diner and night at the place.

Pa Co

After breakfast, departure towards the pretty H’Mong village of Ta So, in the province of Son La. Follow the path, passing through the tea fields of Nong Truong. You will be able to walk in the middle of the alleys of tea trees and learn about the culture of tea. The road will then resume to Ta So where you will arrive for lunch and room check-in. In the afternoon, you will hike around the village to discover local life. You can attend and even join them depending on the season. Dinner and night at the homestay .

For this last day, you will go hiking to reach viewpoints and other remote villages off the beaten track. (Possibility to take a scooter ride while driving or as a passenger). You will discover the habits and customs of the H’Mong , an exciting ethnic group that transports you to another time. You will be back at the homestay for lunch and check out. After a short break to relax, you will take the road to Hanoi. Arrive late afternoon and drop off at your hotel. End of tour.
