A 20 days adventure tour from the North to the South of Vietnam to discover its natural riches. An exploration of the fauna and flora by exploring some national parks.

First, in order to soak up the Vietnamese atmosphere, a day in the urban jungle of Hanoi to familiarize yourself with the scents, the bustle and the Vietnamese frenzy.

Then, you will leave this huge anthill full of activities to reach the first sites, including the splendid valley of Mai Chau. Peaceful day meeting the Tay minority.

Then will begin the discovery of the Pu Luong Nature Reserve, also called Little Sapa. Discovery of local life but also of the jungle, unique activity and guaranteed memorable memories. You will continue through Cuc National Park Phuong , bringing together animal rescue centers but also a rich and verdant flora and fauna.

The tour continues to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park, land of caves, including the largest in the world, Soon Do. You will also have the chance to camp in the eco-tourism project at the Phong Nha Botanical Garden .

  • Day 2: Hanoi

Explanation on this place steeped in history due to the carcass of the American fighter plane emerging from the water. Passing through small alleys teeming with life, we reach the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, a sacred place in Vietnam. After a local lunch in the Old Quarter, depart by bike to visit Banana Island, which begins under Long Bien Bridge. We go from the urban frenzy to the countryside, a mixture that perfectly describes Hanoi. The walk runs along the Red River to reach the Tay Ho district in the north of the city to then go to the Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest in the capital. Slowly return to the Old Quarter to rest at the hotel. For dinner, taste a delicious local specialty, Cha Ca, fried fish served with Bun and aromatic herbs. Night at the hotel.
  • Day 3: Hanoi – Mai Chau
  • tam-coc_smallAfter breakfast, departure for the Mai Chau valley, 3 hours away. You will stop at Thung Pass Khe , magnificent road offering a superb panorama. You can visit the small local market of the H'mongs who have settled there and taste the specialty of sticky rice cooked in bamboo. The drive continues to Mai Chau where you will check in at the homestay and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will climb on the bike to visit the valley and learn about local life. You will see the peasants working the land but also the local way of sewing with traditional machines. In the evening, dinner and a quiet night in the homestay.
  • Day 4: Mai Chau – Pu Luong Nature Reserve
  • In the early morning, it will be time to say goodbye to the hosts and set off for the magnificent Pu Luong Nature Reserve. You will take the time to drop off your belongings and check in at the hotel. Then you will leave for a cooking class. A nice walk will take you to a local house to learn how to cook local specialties that you will taste together. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the starting point of a hike passing through local villages and passing by the famous and impressive bamboo watermills. The hike will continue to the starting point for a relaxing bamboo raft ride. Back at the hotel finally in the afternoon, you will have free time to enjoy the place before dinner and the night on site.
  • Day 5: Pu Luong Nature Reserve
  • In the morning, you will be transferred to the starting point for a hike in the Reserve to learn how the locals use the products of the jungle for food but also medicinal purposes. After hiking/picking produce, you will set up camp and build the fire to begin preparing the fruits of your harvest. Bamboo cooking for a very local experience. In the afternoon, you will continue the walk in the Reserve until your return in the middle of the afternoon. Free time to walk in the middle of the rice fields and take pictures. In the evening, a local dinner will be served before a quiet night.
  • Day 6: Pu Luong Nature Reserve – Cuc National Park Phuong
  • After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cuc National Park Phuong . Arrival at the end of the morning, you will stop to visit the primate rescue center as well as that of turtles. You will then proceed to the heart of the park to have lunch and check in to the room. In the afternoon, you will hike in the park in a luxuriant nature in the tropical forest. You will pass through centuries-old trees and up to the cave once inhabited by prehistoric men. In the evening, you will relax around a good meal in the homestay followed by a night lulled by the sounds of the jungle.
  • Day 7: Cuc National Park Phuong – Ninh Binh – Phong Nha National Park
  • In the morning, you will jump on the bike to reach Bong Park . You will go to the viewpoint overlooking the park, visit the thousand-year-old tree and the Muong village. Back at the homestay to freshen up and check out, you will have lunch there. Then, you will embark for Ninh Binh , Halong Bay on land and more precisely Tam Coc. You will board a Sampan, a traditional boat for a 2-hour cruise. The landscapes are exceptional with this river winding through the middle of the karst peaks and passing under the mountain. You will then proceed to nearby Mua Cave. The interest is above all to climb the 500 steep steps that lead to the summit to contemplate the view from the dragon temple. It will be time to head to a local restaurant to try your hand at the local specialty, goat meat. After the meal, you will be transferred to Ninh Binh guard to take the sleeper train to Dong Hoi , a nearby town of Phong Nha National Park. Night on board.
  • Day 8: Phong Nha Botanical Garden
  • Early morning arrival at Dong Hoi train station, you will then be transferred to the Phong Nha Botanical Garden for a two-day nature tour. The hike passes Animal Rehabilitation Center, Peacock Viewpoint, dense rainforest, nature trail, Golden Lake, Gio Waterfall . Meals, lunch and dinner will be taken on the way. In the evening, you can observe the life of nocturnal animals. The night will be spent in a tent in the heart of the park, lulled by the sounds of the forest, an intense and deep communion with unspoiled nature.
  • Day 9: Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park
  • After breakfast, you will return quietly to the entrance of the park from where you will take the car to reach the national park of Phong Nha Ke Bang. Breakfast and check-in in the room. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Phong Nha Cave and Paradise Cave . One offering a boat ride and the other a ride that plunges into the depths of the mountain. (Possibility to add the Dark cave , more like an amusement park with zipline, diving board and mud bath, perfect if you are with teenagers). Return to the guesthouse for dinner and overnight.
  • Day 10: Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park – Hue
  • Early morning, check out then departure for the ancient imperial city of Hue. On the way, stop at the Demilitarized Zone to visit the Vinh Moc Tunnels . Very important site during the Indochina war, discover the ingenuity of the Vietnamese army. The road continues to Hue, arriving to enjoy a local lunch, the famous Bun Bo Hue, classified as cultural heritage by UNESCO. The afternoon will be devoted to discovering the historic sites of the city such as the Imperial Citadel, the Royal Museum of Antiquities of Hue and the Thai Hoa Palace . Stop at the bustling Dong Ba market for some shopping. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner on the Perfume River to admire the beauty of the city from the river. Night on site
  • Day 11: Hue
  • The day will be devoted to visiting local crafts. Visit Thuy Xuan Incense Village, Kim Long Cone Hat Village and Phuong Duc Foundry Village. Lunch break to taste local specialties. In the afternoon, you will visit Sinh Folk Painting Village, Thanh Tien Paper Flower Village and then proceed to Thanh Toan Japanese Bridge, an architectural masterpiece. Return to the capital for a free moment. Diner and night at the place.
  • Day 12: Hue – Hai Van pass – Hoi An
  • After breakfast, check out and departure by car to visit the abandoned water park of Thuy Tien and its mystical atmosphere. Then head to Bach Ma National Park and its film landscapes. The hike will take you through viewpoints, through the jungle and discover the wealth of the park, including its waterfalls. A picnic will be organized in the park. You will take the road again towards Hoi An, the city of lanterns and a must-see site. You will take the pass of the clouds which offer spectacular views of the sea. Arrival in Hoi An at the end of the afternoon to check in at the hotel. Dinner in the old town and boat trip to drop off your lantern. Return to the hotel for a peaceful night.
  • Day 13: Hoi An
  • Early departure for My Son Sanctuary, listed by UNESCO. Mysterious atmosphere and time travel in the early morning. Built between the 4th and 14th centuries by the kings of Champa, the site immerses you in lost and bygone times. After this temporal immersion, return to Hoi An with a stop at the silk village to try traditional sewing. Lunch will be at the Hoi An covered market , in the heart of the old town. Depending on the weather and your desire, it will be time to discover the museums, pagoda and the old Japanese bridge or to enjoy a lazy afternoon at the beach.   • Day 14: Hoi An – Pleiku – Kon Tum
  • Departure at dawn for the airport and flight to the highlands at Pleiku . Arrived at the airport, you will take the road to Kon Tum . Once there, you will visit the charming cathedral and the Bishop's house. Lunch on site. In the afternoon, you will visit the village of Kon Ko Tu, inhabited by the Banar , with its communal house. You will be able to soak up the places and discover the local habits and customs. Dinner and night at the inhabitant.
  • Day 15: Nha Trang
  • Full day free at leisure. Only accommodation with breakfast is included. Recommended Activities: Water sports abound, including parasailing, jet skiing, water skiing and relaxing boat trips to the outer islands
  • Day 16: K'Bang – Quy Nhon
  • Transfer to Kon Chu Rang National Park with a local guide. You will walk in the middle of the rich fauna and flora to the impressive K50 waterfall where you can swim according to the weather and your desires. A picnic will be organized in the park. Returning mid-afternoon to the village, you will have free time to relax or explore on your own before driving to the coastal town of Quy Nhon. Arrival on site for dinner and a quiet night on site.
  • Day 17: Quy Nhon –Ho Chi Minh
  • Free morning and lunch in Quy Nhon for walking or enjoying the beach. In the early afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport to catch the flight to Ho Chi Minh. Once there, the car will take you to the hotel. Diner and night at the place.
  • Day 18: Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be
  • It's time to hit the road for one of the most surprising and exciting places in Vietnam, the Mekong Delta and more precisely Cai Be. You will be welcomed at the pontoon for a transfer to the Lodge where you will be staying. After check-in and lunch, bike ride to Tan Phong Island to discover the making of banana leaf hammocks, coconut leaf roofs and various daily products made from hyacinth of water. Tasting of fresh fruit and folklore show. Short 30-minute tour aboard a traditional boat in the middle of the canals. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
  • Day 19: Cai Be – Ho Chi Minh
  • After breakfast, head to Cai Be floating market. It is one of the main attractions of the Delta which punctuates the life of the locals. We will then visit villages of craftsmen before returning to the Lodge for check out and return to Ho Chi Minh in the early afternoon . You will visit the main architectural buildings of the megalopolis such as the Post Office, the Cathedral or the Reunification Palace. The day will end at the Ben Thanh market, a real souvenir supermarket where you can do your shopping. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at the hotel.
  • Day 20: Ho Chi Minh
  • After breakfast, depart for the Cu Chi tunnels. On site and after watching an explanatory and historical film, you will set off to explore the site. First of all, you will be surprised by the creativity of the traps set up at the time. You can then enter the tunnels and understand the very well organized system of the underground network. Return to Ho Chi Minh for lunch and end of the tour. Transfer to the airport possible on request.
